Rubik’s Cakes Are A Thing And They’re Too Pretty To Eat:
If you're serious about your pastries, you've probably already heard of the French chef Cédric Grolet, who's according to the Relais Desserts association, was the best pastry chef in 2016. If you haven't heard of him, though, there's no better way to get introduced to Cédric's work than through his tribute to the famous Rubik's Cube puzzle in the form of Rubik's Cake!
As you're about to see below, the impressive array of geometrical shapes is a running theme in Cédric's edible art pieces. From Rubik's cakes to millimeter-perfect flower muffins, this French food artist proves again and again why he's considered to be the very best in the business.

Bubble Bath Play Dough Recipe By Amy Huntley
This is a copycat recipe of Bubble Bath Play Dough. It is simple to make and takes just a few ingredients and you can make it in a few minutes. It is also simple enough that the kids can make it without any adult help! A great way to get the kids in the kitchen…and in the bath!
Bubble Bath Play Dough
1/4 cup Bubble Bath
1/2 – 3/4 cup Cornstarch
1 tsp Coconut Oil
Essential Oil
Directions:
- In a bowl mix together the bubble bath, essential oil and coloring.
- Melt the coconut oil in the microwave and add it to the bowl.
- Add half of the cornstarch.
- Add more cornstarch as needed.
- As you mix it, it will become a nice soft ball that is no longer sticky.
- Knead the play dough with your hands.
This play dough can be used multiple times as long as it doesn’t get wet. If you plan on using it in the bath, that will be the last time you can use it. It will slowly dissolve in the bath water with play. If using to play outside of the bath, it can be stored for a few weeks in an air-tight container.
